As D-Day draws near, the FCC steps in to *manage the publics’ expectations, more to follow… I just received the unofficial press release from the FCC:
COMMISSIONER MCDOWELL TO CONDUCT “90 DAYS OUT” DTV INTERVIEWSWashington, DC – FCC Commissioner Robert M. McDowell announced that he will conduct “90
days out” satellite interviews with members of the news media as part of an extensive nationwide
initiative the Commission has launched to increase awareness about the upcoming transition to
digital television.
Commissioner McDowell will speaking with the following stations this morning:
WLUK-TV (FOX), Green Bay, WI
KMPH-TV (FOX), Fresno, CA
KUSA-TV (NBC), Denver, CO
WIXN-TV (FOX), Indianapolis, IN
